Sunday night football
In 2022, NBC Sports partnered with Compadre to refresh the iconic Sunday Night Football logo and identity system, a high-stakes assignment given SNF's run as primetime's #1 show. The team made the bold decision to retire the metallic shield, rebuilding the brand around custom typography that cleverly integrates the NBC peacock into the letterforms. The result was a flexible system designed to flex from broadcast-scale 3D marquees down to the "SNF" acronym for social and digital, giving the network a signature look that could travel anywhere, on any platform.
One of those projects where you feel the weight of it every time you sit down to work. Seeing the new logo on screen that first Sunday night (after months of research, debate, and iteration) is something I'll always remember.
