Women’s College World Series

The Women's College World Series is built on legacy, pride, and the next generation of stars, and for ESPN's 2026 tournament package we partnered to build a visual world that honored that legacy while feeling unmistakably current, borrowing the familiar language of the yearbook to celebrate the athletes, the moments, and the energy of the game. The concept reframed editorial conventions like class portraits, embossed covers, signature pages, and school-spirit spreads as a living motion system, anchored by a custom 3D yearbook cover that served as the opening and closing device while the story unfolded through page-to-page transitions, animated photography, kinetic typography, and framed athlete moments that carried the warmth of print with the pace and impact of modern sports broadcast design.
